How to Fit & Train Your Cat

Choosing the Right Size

Most 8–12 lb adult cats wear size S/M. Always measure to be sure:

• Neck: Measure snugly around the base of the neck.
• Chest (girth): Measure snugly around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
• Compare both measurements to our size chart (XS, S/M, M/L, XL) and choose the size where both neck and chest fall within the range.

Important fit tip: The harness must be worn snugly to be secure – you should not be able to easily slide a finger between the collar and your cat. A loose collar is the #1 reason any harness can be escaped.

1. Let your cat get used to it: Leave the harness near your cat’s bed or favorite spot for a few days so they can see and smell it.
