How to Put On the Diapurr - Step-by-Step Guide

The Diapurr uses a unique wrap-around technique that works perfectly once you learn it! Follow these steps:

Step 1: Prepare the Diapurr

- Lay the Diapurr flat with the inside facing up
- Ensure all closures are open and ready

Step 2: Position Your Cat

- Place your cat standing on all four legs
- Calm and reassure them - this gets easier with practice!

Step 3: Initial Placement

- Place the collar of the Diapurr over your cat's head
- Position the Diapurr over your cat's back, centered between front and back legs
- Thread your cat's tail through the space between the top of the pouch and the diaper body. The pouch should then sit under your cat's tail

Step 4: Wrap and Secure

- Place the left and right pouch straps between your cat's legs and pull them up on either side of your cat's body towards your cat's back
- Pull the top left and right strap sides down towards your cat's belly
- Secure the closures of the pouch straps snugly to the upper straps on either side of your cat's body
- (Note: on thin cats, the lower straps will wrap up and over to the top of your cat's back; on heavier cats the straps will fasten on either side of the cat.)
- Fasten shoulder straps

Step 5: Check the Fit

- Ensure tail area is properly positioned
- Check that your cat can move comfortably
- Adjust closures if needed
