From Petroleum Geologist to Animal Welfare Entrepreneur
Dr. Tobi Kosanke, founder of Crazy K Farm, is a professional geologist who left her petroleum industry career in 2009 to care for her special-needs daughter. When her manager forced her to choose between her career and her child, she chose her child - and reinvented herself as a successful entrepreneur.
While staying home to care for her daughter, Dr. Kosanke turned her hobby of inventing products to improve the lives of rescued animals on her Texas farm into a thriving business helping pet owners worldwide enrich the lives of their pets.

Crazy K Farm is a social venture supporting multiple causes:
Animal Rescue: Dr. Kosanke donates a portion of profits to Crazy K Poultry and Livestock (EIN 46-2942130), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary caring for 200+ rescued chickens, ducks, geese, cats, dogs, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, and parrots.
Breast Cancer Awareness: 10% of profits from "Awareness Pink" colored products support charities providing breast cancer screening and treatment to women who cannot afford it, including The Rose clinic in Houston, Texas.
Avian Welfare: 10% of profits from Avian Haven hut sales support The Alex Foundation, advancing our understanding of the cognitive abilities and needs of pet birds.

Arrived quickly and is well made. The chest pad provides great support, and I appreciate that we can adjust the straps. I thought I would like the velcro version better, but in the end I think the tie version works better for us because I can tighten it to just the right size and tension. The bra is really help with our hen's pendulous crop!
Seems to be helping! Our girl definitely tried to get it off at first, but after backing around the run for a bit, she seems to have gotten fairly comfortable. Within 2 days her pendulous crop is emptying much better overnight. Thank you!
