1) If using style with removable liners, place the plastic lining securely inside the diaper portion of the Hen Holster®
2) Open the harness and lay flat, D-ring facing down
3) Place your bird on the floor over the harness
4) Pull the top of the harness up and over your bird's head so that your bird's head is between the straps, and the D-ring is now facing upwards
5) While holding the top of the harness loosely in place, pull the diaper end backwards between your bird's legs and up over the vent
6) Wrap the left and right side flaps of the diaper around your bird’s tail
7) Adjust the diaper upwards so the vent is fully covered by the notch in the diaper
8) Pull the top of the harness (the part with the D-ring) down towards the diaper so that the straps are secured around your bird's wing
9) Secure the top of the harness onto the diaper while keeping the diaper wrapped snuggly around your bird's tail and over the vent
10) Free any wing feathers that may be caught under the harness
11) To use as a harness, attach a leash to the D-ring
12) Periodically empty and rinse the liner

The Runner duck diaper has the staps sewn together with a tab and is designed for very narrow, upright-walking ducks and will not fit a Pekin duck or a chicken.
The Pekin Duck diaper has an adjustable tab so that the straps can be adjusted to fit wider-chested birds. The peking diaper does fit wider chickens.

Here are the written instructions:
1) Place the plastic lining securely inside the diaper portion of the Hen Holster®
2) Open the harness and lay flat, D-ring facing down
3) Place your bird on the floor over the harness
4) Pull the top of the harness up and over your bird's head so that your bird's head is between the straps, and the D-ring is now facing upwards
5) While holding the top of the harness loosely in place, pull the diaper end backwards between your bird's legs and up over the vent
6) Thread the left strap through the D-ring on the left side of the bikini bottom, and the right strap through the D-ring on the right side of the bikini bottom
7) Pull the straps until the vent is fully covered by the bikini bottom
8) Fold the straps back on themselves and press the hook and loop sides firmly together. If straps seem too long for your chicken, you can fasten them diagonally and/or thread them through the upper D-ring (you will need to twist them to fasten hook against loop)
9) Free any wing feathers that may be caught under the harness
10) To use as a harness, attach a leash to the D-ring
11) Periodically empty and rinse the liner
Both are harness-style diapers with removable liners and are available in three sizes to fit most chickens, ducks and geese.
The Wrap-Around Hen Holster diaper wraps around your bird's tail and offers the ultimate in adjustablity over your bird's vent. This style covers the oil gland and is suitable for ducks, geese and active chickens. The wrap around diaper is much more adjustable than the bikini diaper and is more forgiving of sizing issues.
The Bikini Hen Holster diaper is a lighter 'bikini bottom' diaper that sits below your bird's tail. This style has two adjustable straps and does not cover the bird's oil gland. The Bikini style is better for chickens who preen often and is not suitable for ducks or geese. The Bikini style is less ofrgiving of sizing issues and may slip if too large.
The Runner duck diaper has the staps sewn together with a tab and is designed for very narrow, upright-walking ducks.

The hen aprons/saddles are good quality. I appreciated the instructions that were included with the order as the hens did freak out a bit when I put them on. Had I not had this information, I may have taken them off and thought them as failures. The x large seems to fit my New Hampshire hens the best. The hen wearing the x large has only had it on over night and seems comfortable with it. The hen wearing the large is taking more time to adjust; however, it will be be a good size for my pullets as they're growing. I would definitely recommend them and plan on buying more. I also love that the purchase helps their non-profit animal sanctuary and is made in the USA!

These are great harnesses, as secure as any I have tried!
Still, I wish you would add some cute prints like you used to sell, fishes prints and marble prints were cool. Camos, bandana, and animal prints are not for everyone.
This is the perfect product to protect our hens from aggressive roosters! We have used the chicken aprons for many years and have come to rely on Crazy K Farm for this essential product.

Well made, quality materials.
My cat loves going for walks and this harness keeps him snugly secured to a leash! He was a little spooked by the velcro sound the first several times I took the harness off, and he wasn't too sure about wearing it early one but once he learned the harness meant he gets to go outside he adapted pretty quickly.
My cats HATE harnesses and are very very good at getting them off. They have taken a liking to these ones in only two days time! They are so comfortable in them they were roaming the yard, running and jumping after 15 minutes putting them on for the first time. It is incredibly light weight and steam lined. The cats have a great amount of space around the arm holes. No rubbing or chafing. The Velcro is so strong they won't be able to rub it off. And, the Velcro band is large allowing plenty of room for the cats gain and lose weight in it comfortably. I recommend this to anyone who has cats that hate harnesses or are very good at escaping them.

These are the only ones that work. They are expensive but we have three now for my daughter's best friend.

Though we knew absolutely nothing about raising chickens, we became ‘parents’ to an adorable Buff Orpington about 9 years ago. We lived in an area that did not allow chickens, so she became a house chicken. We spent tons of money trying to find a diaper that actually worked, and still allowed some chicken to actually be visible beneath the volume of material. The bikini was our solution! I did have some problems with the diaper sliding down, at first. The solution was to cut one of the Velcro straps off a diaper, slip it through the round metallic things the straps go through, but then lulled the ends together around her tail - voila! Happy chicken, happy family! (There’s much less material this way then the wrap around style.). We’ve been using the same 3 bikinis for years now, because nothing else works. So happy to hear they’re coming back!

Very well-made product, the quality is excellent. I feel it will hold up a long time! Neat design as well, very creative and truly unique yet functional. I wish I would have gotten the version with removable liners, but the company does NOT include pictures of the interior of the diaper, nor the specs of how it functions, so I couldn't tell. Add some more details and pictures to your website please, so us new customers can make an educated purchase! I almost decided to find a different company because I wasn't sure what the product was. After spending a CRAP TON of money on Etsy diapers that leaked or always let the poop fall out, I came across these and figured they would be perfect for my Buff Orphington Rooster baby that HATES diapers (I have some scars to prove it ha ha). These are so simple to put on and are so comfortable for the bird to wear. I was able to get it on him so fast, before he knew what I was up to lol! He did have an attitude and attempted to remove the diaper but he eventually gave up, deciding that preening his feathers was more productive. I wish I would have found these diapers sooner! Im definitely getting more, except next time ill get the ones with removable liners. I also loved that buy buying these products helps support the animals on thw sanctuary! Thanks again for an awesome product!

I'm so happy with this cat harness! My cat Stormy is long in body, his last harness only covered his shoulders and neck . It quickly became too small. This harness covers his long frame in a most comfortable light weight way. The velcro is soo sturdy and adjustable. He does not like anything on him, but he seems to really loves this one.
